A vacancy exists for a Sales Executive within Kazang –Merchant, in Southern Suburbs Cape Town.

Kazang Payments is looking for a driven and self-motivated Sales Executive to grow our merchant base and expand digital payment adoption in the informal and SME market.

 Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acquire and onboard new merchants for Kazang devices and payment solutions
  • Promote Kazang products including prepaid services and card payments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants
  • Achieve monthly sales and activation targets
  • Provide basic training and after-sales support to merchants
  • Accurately report sales activity and pipeline updates

In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Proven sales experience (field sales preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of township, informal, or SME markets is an advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot POS / card payment devices
  • Basic understanding of digital payments, prepaid services, and VAS products
  • Smartphone literacy (Android apps, mobile data, WhatsApp, email)
  • Basic data capture and CRM usage (sales apps, reporting tools)
  • Understanding of SIM cards, connectivity, and device activation
  • Ability to perform merchant onboarding and basic device training
