Receiver & Packer Positions
Minimum Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a stores or warehouse environment
Proven experience working in receiving, packaging, and dispatch bays
Basic computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office:
Microsoft Word: minimum 1 year
Microsoft Excel: minimum 2 years
Experience working on computer-based application systems, including the movement and tracking of consignments between departments
Key Responsibilities / Role Summary
Receive Point of Sale (POS) devices and accurately record them on internal systems
Evaluate and categorise returned POS devices according to predefined criteria
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Excel spreadsheets of received and stored devices
Receive stock from suppliers, verify documentation, distribute paperwork to relevant stakeholders, store items on racking, and update stock records
Physically dispatch spare parts and devices based on issued tickets and record all movements on stock sheets
Package goods for field representatives, agent collections, and internal branch transfers
Perform manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 35kg
Ensure adherence to stores procedures, accuracy, and housekeeping standards
